The DLN teams fulfill the mission of linking climate service providers with resource managers and stakeholders by utilizing a variety of media and hosting numerous events. Since the inception of the DLN, several webinars have been held to update stakeholders on current conditions, management practices, and tools that can be used during drought. Webinars have included condition updates, wildfire outlooks, drought impacts, rangeland management strategies, tool demonstrations, and more.

The DLN Impact Reporting & Response team hosts monthly drought briefings when conditions reach extreme and exceptional drought intensity and impacts in the region. These briefings last approximately 30 minutes and feature a weather and climate update and outlook, as well as one resource to help mangers cope with drought.
